If your family, or anyone you spend a great deal of time with, have
allergies to dog dander or hair, a multigen, F2 or F1B
Labradoodle or Goldendoodle is the most appropriate choice for
you.  While they tend to be more expensive, they also tend to be
MUCH more reliably allergy-friendly.  

If the allergy is to dog saliva, not dander, then the generation of
dog really does not make much of a difference.
