Beau:Multigeneration Miniature Labradoodle

Lapdoodle!
Beau is our spectacular brindle multigeneration miniature
Labradoodle, a son from Libby's December 2006 litter. You can
see his sister Maggie, also a
Multigeneration miniature
Labradoodle, on her page.

Beau is quite a character.  He was the first in the litter to learn to
do new things....walk, bark, climb out of the whelping pen.  And
he was always the one to lead the 'group howls' that this litter
often did as tiny infants, as they were falling asleep.  Interestingly
enough, none of this litter even bark very much, let alone howl, as
adults.

Although Beau's official designation is a "Multigeneration
miniature Labradoodle", we call him one of our 'Lapdoodles' as he
fits perfectly in your lap, with an adult weight right around 20 lbs.
He has a wonderful, non-shedding fleece coat.

We are delighted to report that the preliminary hip assessment,
the only assessment offered by OFA before 24 months of age,
was graded as 'Good'.  While many breeders do not do hip tests
on minis, we felt it was important.  Beau's CERF and vWD tests
were normal.
